    Advantages: cheap Disvantages: difficult to manage a large amount of data

  • Computer (electronical data - bits)

    Advantages: fast and can handle large amounts of data Disvantages: expensive

  • Moral of this comparison:

    Use a computer only if you HAVE TO (E.g., don't use a computer to store your phone numbers; rather, use an index card or a toy (phone or PDA))
