About Me
A Central Pennsylvania native, I moved to California for college and, save for a brief stint in Albuquerque for my Masters, have been here ever since. (It has been argued, however, that my typical habitat is the hazy metaverse comprised of airports and the Internet).
My non-academic interests include reading, choral music, vocal performance, drumming, star gazing, writing, kayaking, and strategy gaming. I also enjoy giving public talks on quasi-scientific topics at Odd Salon in San Francisco.
I have a sister who is a very talented fine artist (Amisha Gadani) and a brother completing his neuroscience Ph.D. at UVA in the Kipnis Lab.
